Cooma airport is approximately 1 hour from Thredbo and is serviced by Regional Express Airlines.

Qantas and Virgin Blue service Canberra Airport from major Australian cities. Canberra Airport is a 2½ hour drive from Thredbo.

Shuttle transfers to and from both airports can be arranged. Several major car hire companies also operate from both airports.
